Integrative Wellness Coaching utilizing Skills Practices, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Clear Goal Setting
Our focus will always be specific to you. The starting point will include listening and understanding your concerns, symptoms, and making a comprehensive plan to support integrated healing of mind and body.
Sessions may include review and practice of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills (DBT) and Radically Open DBT skills. These skills practices are structured, with an emphasis on mindfulness, including the practice of observing your thoughts and emotions, along with tools for staying present in the now.
We may also incorporate thought defusion; allowing a thought to be just a thought, a feeling to just be a feeling - and practices that support holistic peace of mind. When appropriate for clients, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be incorporated into your treatment plan.
Along with these techniques, we will incorporate the practice of grounding and somatic containment techniques to assist with the regulation of your nervous system.
